Terms of Use
Last updated
BTR is a workout tracker for Android that keeps your training on your own phone.
What these terms cover
BTR is an Android app published on Google Play by BTR_coding. These terms are the agreement between you and us about using it, and they are short on purpose — BTR asks almost nothing of you, so there is not much to agree about.
What you are buying
BTR costs $4.99, paid once through Google Play. That gives you a personal licence to install and use the app on your own devices. There is no subscription, no in-app purchases, and every update is included. The price may vary by region, because Google sets it in your local currency. The licence is for you to use the app — not to resell, redistribute or republish it.
Your data is yours
Everything you put into BTR belongs to you: your exercises, sets, routines, workout
history, and the images you add. It lives in a database on your own phone, and in your
own Google Drive if you turn backup on. We run no server, we hold no copy, and we cannot
see it. You can export your exercises, routines and EMOMs whenever you want as
.exercisespack, .routinespack or .emompack files, and everything else — including
your settings and your workout history — by creating a backup, which restores in full.
You can remove all of it by uninstalling the app and deleting the backup folder from
your Drive. What the app does and does not
send anywhere is set out in the privacy policy.
The app is provided as-is
BTR is sold as it is, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it is free of bugs, that it will run on every Android device or every version of Android, or that it will suit the way you train.
We are not responsible for lost data
Back up anything you would be upset to lose. Workout data can be lost when a phone breaks or goes missing, when the app is uninstalled, when an import replaces what was already there, or through a bug. We are not liable for workout data that is lost or damaged, or for anything that follows from losing it. Google Drive backup exists to reduce that risk and we recommend turning it on — but a backup you never made cannot restore anything.
BTR is not fitness or medical advice
BTR keeps your numbers; it does not coach you. Nothing in the app is fitness, health or medical advice — not a set, not a timer, not a rest interval, not a personal record. You are responsible for your own training decisions, including what you lift, how often you train, and whether a given exercise is safe for you. If you have an injury, a health condition, or any doubt, talk to a doctor or a qualified coach rather than to an app.
Purchases and refunds
BTR is sold through Google Play, not directly by us. Payment, taxes and refunds are handled by Google under Google Play’s own terms and refund policy, so a refund request goes to Google rather than to us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, where BTR is developed.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is published on this page and the date at the top changes with it. Using the app after that means the updated terms apply.
